Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team at Reed, where your expertise will guide informed decision-making and ensure risks are identified and minimized.

Key Responsibilities

Do you have experience in the following?

  • Providing in-house legal support to a regulated financial services organization or equivalent experience in a large commercial law firm.
  • Managing commercial contracts, litigation, compliance, employment law, intellectual property, and brand protection.
  • Overseeing the management of external law firms and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Holding a qualified solicitor or barrister qualification with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working in an international life assurance or wealth management organization or similar financial services organization.
  • Experience working with legal matters in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and industry and regulatory practices.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Open to managing and training junior lawyers within the legal team.
