Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Planner to join our team at Link 2 Resource LTD. As an Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for creating overall departmental schedules, assigning and prioritizing workloads, and working closely with Engineering and Operations teams to coordinate overhauls and essential maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate weekly planned work using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Liaise with the team to develop a maintenance plan that fits with production plans
  • Produce plans and communicate clearly to engineering teams to allow completion
  • Lead engineering planning meetings
  • Work closely with site Continuous Improvement and project teams
  • Identify specific safety hazards that are encountered in the performance of the work
  • Allocate work across shifts to optimize planning efficiency
  • Be accountable and drive planning KPIs
  • Act as Subject matter expert with regards to site CMMS
Requirements
  • Have working knowledge of process & utilities plant engineering activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with those at all levels
  • Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality requirements in a maintenance/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to take on new skills and fault-finding knowledge in the workplace
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing company
  • History in engineering roles on complex sites
  • Experience with CMMS systems
