Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance duties to ensure the provision of a modern, professional, and responsive service to support our business delivery and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of maintenance duties, including internal and external repairs and maintenance of Housing Executive properties.
  • Provide a comprehensive maintenance service, contributing to the provision of a modern, professional, and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, meeting the required quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or defects, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
  • 2 years' relevant experience in a similar role, providing a range of general house maintenance services (internal and external).
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
