Job Title: Global Billing and Credit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Global Billing and Credit Manager to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis to cover a maternity leave. This is a transformative time for the team as we embrace better use of technology to help us deliver an ambitious strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the billing and credit control function, ensuring excellent service delivery for both internal and external customers.
  2. Oversight of processes and financial controls relating to all Sales Ledger invoices, ensuring all service level agreements are met.
  3. Implement and develop procedures and policies for aged debt, ensuring timely payments and sound financial control.
  4. Provide timely, accurate, and insightful management information regarding billing, trends, and debt collection and performance against SLA.
  5. Relationship management with suppliers, including cash collection software suppliers and credit card payment providers.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert for Billing and Credit Control for the whole organisation and represent these functions on relevant projects.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) Qualified (desirable).
  • An experienced and qualified credit management professional.
  • Proven track record of owning Accounts Receivable ledgers across a variety of sectors and currencies.
  • Experience of developing relationships across the whole organisation and influencing the debt collection processes.
  • Experience of flexing approach to take account of different cultures, languages.
  • Knowledge and experience of Finance and debt collection systems.
