Children's Community Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Community Nurse to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with a range of complex needs, including palliative care, oncology, and respiratory conditions.
As a Community Children's Health Professional, you will work in a variety of settings, including homes, educational establishments, and clinics, to deliver care that is tailored to the individual needs of each child and their family.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to children and young people with complex needs, including palliative care, oncology, and respiratory conditions.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the quality of care.
- Participate in education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Registered Nurse (Child Branch) or RSCN qualification.
- At least 2-3 years post-registration clinical experience working with children and their families.
- Wide range of professional knowledge and experience of paediatric nursing, including palliative care, oncology, and respiratory conditions.
- Sound nursing knowledge and experience of all basic clinical nursing skills, including care of Tracheostomies, enteral feeding devices, and Central venous catheters.
