Red Snapper Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Commercial and Contract Management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Commercial Governance: Prepare commercial governance materials, update Change Registers, and ensure all relevant documentation is stored securely for auditing purposes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support the team in providing stakeholder management administration support, including following up with stakeholders to seek feedback, setting up workshops, formatting slides, producing a decision log, and uploading emails about key decisions and actions to a secure platform.
  • Administrative Support: Undertake tasks according to the direction of the Commercial and Contract Management team, including providing administrative assistance to the Commercial Change Board, minuting meetings, diary management, and the organization of meetings.
  • Financial Management: Support the Commercial and Contract Management team in managing invoices, raising Purchase Orders, and receipting Purchase Orders. Additionally, support the team with ad hoc financial requests.
  • Documentation Management: Create and manage files for all Commercial Management documentation, including action/decision logs, risk register, dependencies matrix, in accordance with agreed filing conventions.
  • Project Planning: Prepare high-quality documentation that contributes to the successful management of the project, project plans, risk and issues register, and end-stage project reports.
  • Methodology and Procedures: Undertake tasks using the Agile methodology and City of London Police project procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Actively seek to implement the City of London's and City of London Police Occupational Health and Safety Policy in relation to the duties of the post, and at all times give due regard to the health and safety of both themselves and others when carrying out their duties.

Person Specification
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience of working in a projects environment would be an advantage.
  • Data Collation and Presentation: Experience of collating and presenting data.
  • Project Planning: Previous experience of producing project plans an advantage.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Literacy and numeracy skills to fulfill the duties of the role.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively as a team member and build excellent working relationships.
  • Administration and Organisation: Excellent administration and organisation skills with an ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise own workload.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Working knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Planning and Organisation: Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Autonomy and Communication: Ability to work with minimum supervision in a pressurised environment and communicate at all levels, within and outside the organisation.
  • IT Skills: High level of IT skills, including MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
