We are in search of a motivated and dynamic Food and Beverage Supervisor to contribute to our primary Guest Culinary Gem, the Food and Beverage Department.

Key Qualities We Seek in Our Food and Beverage Supervisor:

The ideal candidate will assist the Food and Beverage Management Team in leading and enhancing our operational areas, which include the Quadrato Restaurant and Lounge, Conference and Events Department, and Room Service. Collaborating with our Executive Chef, you will ensure that all operational food and beverage areas throughout the hotel adhere to impeccable standards of food safety and health regulations.

Your primary focus will be to work alongside the Food and Beverage Management team to ensure that the department operates at peak efficiency, providing an exceptional and memorable dining experience for our guests. You will lead by example and adopt a hands-on approach with your operational team.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Food and Beverage Supervisor role within the 5* hotel industry.
  • Food Hygiene and Food Safety Compliance certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant communication programs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to high guest service standards.
  • Exceptional grooming standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food and Beverage Management Team in managing the department in accordance with the hotel’s brand standards.
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming experience for all guests dining in the Quadrato Restaurant and Lounge.
  • Support the management team with stock ordering and control to ensure availability.
  • Encourage upselling to optimize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive food and beverage quality while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring a high-performing team of Food and Beverage Assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • In the absence of the management team, oversee daily operations and ensure standards meet guest expectations.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Promote sustainable practices within the department and across the hotel.
