Position Summary:

As an Associate within Global Financing Solutions, you will engage with the Global Financing team in the Global Structuring sector. We are a compact, cohesive group that plays a pivotal role throughout the entire lifecycle of credit (both private and public) and fund financing transactions. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential opportunities, promoting the business, and providing transaction-oriented expertise throughout the deal process. This position necessitates close coordination with Trading partners, Sales teams, Investment Banking, and the Private Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promotion and execution of financing products
  • Collaborate effectively with the team's deal leads, sales, and trading partners, assisting in the formulation of client strategies and marketing financing products
  • Support the negotiation of term sheets and legal documents on identified opportunities in close partnership with deal leads and trading associates
  • Oversee facility monetization opportunities and client inquiries following transactions, including fostering discussions on additional Markets financing products
  • Enhance market knowledge and personal brand to elevate the firm's understanding and reputation in the fund financing arena
  • Contribute to the broader Global Structuring organization across institutional structuring, financing, and solutions teams
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of asset managers and institutional investors, particularly in private funds
  • Several years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
  • Proven interest and capability in reviewing and analyzing legal documentation
  • Ability to remain resilient during prolonged negotiations and exhibit patience with lengthy marketing processes
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Several years of experience in a related field (ideally credit, structuring, financing, or corporate finance)
