About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assessment Development Expert to join our Learning Assessment team at Multiverse. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, validating, and leading assessment experiments that test an apprentice's proficiency in knowledge, skills, and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Assessments
    • Work closely with multiple teams across the business to deliver assessments, including learning designers, content developers, and coaches.
    • Create bespoke assessments for specific requirements, leveraging your expertise in assessment design and evaluation.
    • Use data to inform strategy and design decisions, ensuring that our assessments are valid, reliable, and effective.
  • Help Shape Our Product
    • Design the assessment strategy for new learning programs, working closely with our product development team.
    • Help enable coaches and apprentices to use our tools, processes, and results effectively, providing guidance on how to get the best out of them.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in the full assessment design and evaluation process, ensuring that our assessments meet the highest standards.
  • Passionate About Creating Tools and Processes
    • Be passionate about creating tools and processes that help learners achieve their full potential, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Analyze the quality, validity, and reliability of assessments and make improvements accordingly.
    • Understand the nuances and implications of formative and summative assessments and be able to articulate design choices effectively.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Have experience with apprenticeships, including IFATE standards and KSBs.
    • Be proficient in data analysis skills and tools, including Excel, SQL, and Python.
    • Have contextual experience of technical skills, such as data science, data analytics, software engineering, cyber security, DevOps, etc.
