As a member of the FNZ Group Client Funds Reconciliation team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate reconciliation of financial transactions conducted by our clients. This team is also dedicated to reconciling client holdings and addressing any discrepancies in client funds. You will have the chance to collaborate with various clients, enhancing your skills and knowledge for career advancement.
The main objective of this role is to guarantee the timely completion of daily Client Funds Reconciliations. This position is part of the FNZ Group Compliance Office.
The specialist will report directly to the Team Manager and will interact with all departments within the organization concerning the preparation of Client Funds Reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and assessment of daily Client Funds Reconciliations within established timelines
- Evaluate internal and external processes to ensure adherence to compliance and best practices
- Analyze and enhance internal procedures, providing constructive feedback to other operational teams as necessary
- Stay informed about new developments and regulations in the financial sector
- Address complex issues and deliver effective resolutions
- Offer support to the organization based on technical expertise related to the role
- Assist in implementing any approved changes within the role
- Support the manager in reviewing outputs and generating management information
- Review project documentation to assess its impact on the team
- Periodically evaluate procedures to ensure the completeness and accuracy of current processes
- Identify and promote initiatives to continuously enhance existing operational processes
- Maintain awareness of market changes and developments that affect the team, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the team's functions
- Possess a technical understanding of platform functionality and operations, maintaining an end-to-end view of processes and platforms for the team
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CASS regulations and their application in an operational context
- Ability to analyze, present, and communicate complex regulatory information to senior stakeholders clearly and concisely
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external parties at all levels
- Proficient in Excel, with the ability to extract data from various sources and produce accurate, timely reports
- Highly organized, confident, decisive, and a proactive self-starter
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines, both as part of a team and independently
- Capability to escalate issues when necessary
