We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integrated Commissioning Manager to join our team at Connect2Luton. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a critical role in leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of commissioning strategies and plans that meet the needs of our local population.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of commissioning strategies and plans that are needs-led, evidence-based, and outcome-focused.
- Conduct thorough options appraisal and make recommendations for commissioning new services or decommissioning existing ones.
- Engage with diverse communities, service users, and stakeholders to ensure their active involvement in the commissioning cycle.
- Manage and monitor the implementation of cross-cutting implementation plans and work plans, including those arising from specific commissioning strategies.
- Develop and motivate teams based on co-operative behaviours, generating commitment and engagement.
- Ensure robust outcome-based performance frameworks are in place to enable monitoring and review of commissioned activity on outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience of commissioning and commissioning cycle or managing services and complex projects, including performance management.
- Able to analyse and manipulate complex data to produce defined information products to inform strategies and plans.
- Ability to influence people and direct change within service delivery and develop positive relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and deliver a broad range of activities, formulate and adjust strategies and plans.
- Effective interpersonal, presentation, facilitation skills and ability to influence and persuade others and to deliver results.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of key aspects of the Commissioning Cycle.
- Proven ability to develop and evaluate projects and programmes to improve outcomes.
- A relevant Postgraduate Degree or equivalent experience.
