Job Title: Senior Integrated Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Integrated Commissioning Manager to join our team at Connect2Luton. As a key member of our Population Wellbeing directorate, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of commissioning strategies and plans that meet the needs of our local population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of commissioning strategies and plans that are needs-led, evidence-based, and outcome-focused.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective service redevelopment and pathway redesign to meet national and local objectives.
  • Manage and monitor the implementation of cross-cutting implementation plans and work plans, including those arising from specific commissioning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service providers, commissioners, service users, and their carers to ensure their voices are heard in service planning and commissioning.
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of commissioning professionals, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of commissioning and the commissioning cycle, including performance management.
  • Ability to analyse and manipulate complex data to inform strategies and plans.
  • Strong influencing and change management skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
  • Relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent experience.
