Installation Project Manager - Medical Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Installation Project Manager to join our team in the medical equipment industry. As an Installation Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and project managing the installation of medical and surgical equipment at hospital sites throughout Greater London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plan the installation of medical and surgical equipment, including surgical lighting, operating theatre tables, medical gas facilities, and all associated operating theatre control systems and electrical infrastructure.
  • Organise and instruct all sub-contractors on site, liaising with various internal contacts and external customers, including hospital departmental managers, the sales department, and the project management department.
  • Develop relationships with building contractors and business partners, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Manage multiple 'cradle to grave' projects at one time, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong background working in an installation project management capacity, with practical knowledge of high value capital equipment installations.
  • Familiarity with building regulations, CAD, structural design, and electrical installations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
