Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman UK. As a key member of our service engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and repair of complex systems in the UK and worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform service tasks across the UK and worldwide as required.
  • Install, integrate, and test existing and new products in support of programme execution.
  • Conduct installation audits and generate installation audit reports for customer acceptance.
  • Diagnose and fix issues on naval platforms in accordance with in-service support contracts.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Provide technical support to customers and/or other engineers as required.
  • Travel regularly within the UK, with support provided by a company car.
Requirements
  • Experience as a field service engineer, preferably in the defence environment.
  • Understanding of complex equipment and systems, including radar and control systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively.
  • Confident representation of Northrop Grumman to customers and users.
