Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Homologation Specialist to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our Homologation team, you will be responsible for delivering homologation activities across our existing client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver homologation activities across the existing client base, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver projects that meet their needs.
  • Support clients with worst-case scenario analysis and technical interpretation.
  • Verify the quality of departmental documentation and ensure it meets regulatory requirements.
  • Generate opportunity proposals in line with Idiada's technical scope.
  • Identify training requirements for the team and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest innovations and news in the field.
  • Generate reports and certificates to meet client homologation requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous homologation experience in activities such as commercial vehicle approvals, passive and active safety subjects, motorcycle type approval, and GSRII subjects.
  • Knowledge of regulations, technical, and safety requirements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest innovations and news in the automotive market.
  • Proficiency in English, with other languages an asset.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Practical knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of automotive OEM processes.
  • Sales/Engineering/Technical knowledge.
  • Commercial, costing, engineering, or programme management experience.
