Overview of Role

We are a leading bakery company, Speedibake, that has been a market leader in the supply of frozen baked goods for over 30 years. We are proud to be part of Associated British Foods plc, a FTSE 100 company. This role is a key part of our business, responsible for delivering insight and driving value in a key area that has a substantial impact on our performance.

This role aims to execute Speedibake channel, brand, and customer label plans, managing key accounts within the channel and leading the channel into sustained growth. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the food service industry and be able to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement channel strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage key accounts within the channel to ensure delivery of budget volume and contribution targets
  • Develop and support reports to ensure key deliverables are met
  • Deliver business reviews on a weekly and periodic basis
  • Negotiate joint plans (JBPs) to meet Speedibake and customer objectives
  • Recruit and develop high-calibre business managers as needed
  • Use customer data and forecasting tools to improve analysis and develop accurate timely forecasts
  • Price management to ensure margins/profit enhanced
  • Competitor analysis
  • Internal reporting on performance
  • Sharing competitor insight to improve Speedibake plans
  • Manage internal and external cross-functional relationships
The Right Person

This role requires a degree or equivalent and in-depth knowledge of the food service industry. The ideal candidate will have customer label and branded experience and be able to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.
