Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Executive to join our team at MACTALENT LTD. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our UK Specialty business, handling complex claims and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive claims documents and manage client claims and settlements.
- Present claims to underwriters, addressing queries, providing feedback, and responding to clients, insurers, and internal departments.
- Review and prepare correspondence regarding notifications and claims to ensure products and cover meet client risk requirements, business objectives, and compliance standards.
- Keep clients and insurers informed of claim developments, liaising with third parties as necessary.
- Investigate and resolve client queries, following through to resolution and keeping all parties informed.
- Develop positive relationships and negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome for the client.
- Maintain delegated authority contracts effectively and cost-efficiently.
Requirements:
- Significant previous claims experience, preferably in liability, personal accident, or property claims.
- Good understanding of insurance principles.
- Strong knowledge of the claims-handling process.
- Understanding of broking and underwriting processes.
- Highly organized, with excellent planning skills.
- Able to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Able to build sustainable relationships.
