About the Role

As a Shift Supervisor at Boise Cascade, you will play a critical role in coordinating the daily activities of production employees in a mill environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to motivate and coach employees to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign work to ensure efficient production and high-quality products
  • Supervise production lines for safety, product quality, and workflow
  • Train, motivate, and coach employees to improve performance and achieve company goals
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to implement process improvements and drive business results
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader with a strong background in manufacturing and wood products. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school degree and technical or formal training in a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of leadership and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
