Job Summary

The Digital Catapult Finance Team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grants and Financial Administrator to support the Grants Team in the claim reporting process to various funders. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the quarterly grant claim process, maintaining electronic filing for all grants, and providing administrative assistance to the wider Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the quarterly grant claim process by collating, analyzing, and organizing financial evidence, and liaising with project partners to gather necessary information.
  • Liaise with auditors to coordinate and gather information needed for quarterly project audits.
  • Maintain electronic filing for all grants and provide assistance in monitoring grants, including updating relevant databases and spreadsheets.

Financial Support

  • Manage a range of administrative tasks, including financial support to project managers, creating new suppliers, and sending purchase order details.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and credit cards, and post accruals reviewed by the Senior Accountant.
  • Prepare creditors aging reports.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will require prior work experience in an administrative role, with previous experience in the grants area being desirable but not essential.
  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Driven with a willingness to learn new systems and confident PC skills.
  • Self-starter, self-confident, with a can-do, flexible attitude and excellent communication skills.
