Job Title: Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Acute Medicine of the Elderly at Ward 41.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who wishes to develop skills in Medicine of the Elderly or for those who are experienced in this specialty.

Our innovative frailty model enables the team to identify appropriate acute admissions into Acute Medicine of the elderly wards, providing a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in Acute Medicine of the Elderly, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in Medicine of the Elderly, aligned with our specialist competency framework.
  • Contribute to the development of a range of skills, behaviours, and knowledge to care for and support older people and their relatives and carers.
  • Work in a dynamic and motivated team, striving to deliver the highest level of care possible.
Requirements

Applicants must have acute hospital experience and a passion for working in Medicine of the Elderly.
