Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people who have been taken into care.

Job Summary:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people in a residential setting.
  • Encourage and enable young people to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with young people, staff, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support young people in their daily lives, including education, leisure activities, and personal care.
  • Encourage and facilitate positive behaviors and relationships.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a young person's behavior or well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Full driver's license and access to a vehicle.
