We are currently seeking a Catering Support Assistant to become part of the team at Warmere Court. You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on improving the lives of those in our care. Our objective is to deliver top-notch care to our service users, ensuring they receive the same level of attention and respect we would offer our own family members. Warmere Court is renowned for its commitment to high-quality care.
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Chef, contributing to a cohesive Catering Team responsible for preparing and serving appetizing home-cooked meals to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef with meal preparation
- Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
- Operate the dishwasher and manually wash items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and with equipment
- Distribute and collect crockery from care floors
- Clear tea trolleys as necessary
- Dispose of kitchen waste and keep areas tidy
- Uphold a clean and hygienic workspace
- Follow reasonable requests from the Senior Chef/Chef
- Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
- Adhere to Health & Safety Policies and Regulations

Salary: £12.30 per hour
