Spire Healthcare is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee and manage the distribution of all inventory and supplies across various departments, ensuring timely delivery and efficient processes that meet company performance indicators. The role involves maintaining adequate stock levels and regularly assessing opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with both the National Distribution Centre (NDC) and external vendors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Function as a versatile team member providing high-quality support to the organization, addressing courier, operating room, and supply responsibilities. Conduct daily inventory management by ordering all necessary stock and non-stock items for the operating room, ensuring timely delivery from the NDC or approved external suppliers in accordance with supply chain management protocols. Manage the receipt of inventory from vendors, ensuring accurate documentation in SAP and physical records for comprehensive audit trails, matching received goods to purchase orders and addressing any discrepancies as they arise. Regularly assess consumable, prosthesis (both stock and consignment), and stationery inventory levels in collaboration with departmental managers to align with clinical practice changes and maintain appropriate stock days as per KPIs. Continuously evaluate stock for rotation to minimize obsolescence, taking necessary actions in accordance with company policy to ensure expired stock is never utilized. Maintain an organized and safe workspace, ensuring all areas are clearly labeled and collaborating with staff to adapt arrangements based on needs. Ensure that all loan kits from external providers are ordered in alignment with operating room requirements. Collaborate closely with the Theatre Administration team to ensure accurate stock booking.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Previous experience in a supply chain or inventory management environment. Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
