Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Reed, specializing in agricultural equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, working in a fast-paced retail environment, and utilizing your excellent people skills to build strong relationships with our trade and general public customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to all product and service inquiries.
- Work in a dynamic atmosphere, demonstrating your ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets.
- Utilize your excellent communication skills to work with both trade and general public customers.
- Apply your general computer skills and familiarity with email and internet use to support sales efforts.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with working in a retail environment and showroom experience.
- Motivated by sales and targets.
- A good level of physical fitness, as the successful candidate may be required to lift items while organizing stock.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, handling of cash, cheque, and card payments.
- A team player, capable of working alone or with other team staff.
- Full driving license.
- Smart and presentable experience.
Working Hours: 29 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs. Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours.
