- Valuation Support: Support the valuation process, including Solvency II, UK GAAP, and IFRS17 reporting.
- Business Support: Provide support to managers and others to implement recommendations and facilitate change to support business requirements.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with the FCA's conduct and senior conduct rules and the PRA's conduct and senior manager conduct standards.
- Actuarial Knowledge: Knowledge of UK Defined Benefit Pensions and reinsurance structures.
- Actuarial Concepts: Understanding of actuarial concepts related to annuity pricing and valuation.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
- Actuarial Qualification: Part-qualified Actuary.
- Industry Experience: Experience of working within pensions or a similar role with an insurer.
- Cashflow Modelling: Experience of cashflow modelling and pricing.
