Job Overview

The Podiatry Department at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and autonomous Band Advanced Podiatrist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the high risk and diabetes provision across the county, working closely with our Advanced Practice Specialist (APS) team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced clinical practice skills to ensure patients with active foot disease receive rapid diagnosis, optimization, and treatment.
  • Develop and establish improved multidisciplinary team (MDT) working across the county to ensure seamless transfer of care.
  • Operate clinics across the county and oversee the management of complex foot cases.
  • Supervise Band podiatrists to facilitate smooth step-up and step-down processes and oversee the signing off and reviewing of competencies.
  • Provide and lead on total contact casting and prescribing.
