About the Role
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for administering all financial transactions within the Department, ensuring they are processed promptly, accurately, and in accordance with UCL's Financial Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer financial transactions, including financial processing and procurement
- Assist in the administration of research grant funding proposals, providing figures and statistics as required
- Assist in financial decision making through provision of reports and statistics
- Act as a first point of contact for general financial enquiries
About You
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent relevant qualification or experience in finance or accountancy, with knowledge of financial processes and regulations associated with general financial administration.
Requirements
- Excellent IT skills
- High level of numeracy, with ability to understand and interpret figures and statistics
- Proven experience of preparing financial budgets and forecasts
- Able to develop, maintain, and review administrative and finance systems
