Senior Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Solutions

Are you an experienced engineer eager to take on a new opportunity in the renewable energy industry? Sungrow - EMEA is on the lookout for a Senior Engineer focused on Battery Energy Storage Solutions to enhance their Energy Storage Systems (ESS) technical team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering technical designs and tailored ESS solutions for energy storage initiatives, emphasizing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position will also encompass support for renewable energy ventures, including solar photovoltaic and wind projects.
As a Senior Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and overseeing high-caliber technical advisory services for pre-sales engagements
  • Coordinating project management across various engineering disciplines
  • Providing technical insights and feasibility evaluations for diverse projects
  • Assessing project designs and recommending enhancements
  • Drafting technical specifications and managing the selection process
  • Performing due diligence and offering support for ESS initiatives
  • Defining ESS technical specifications in accordance with industry regulations and standards
Qualifications

  • Experience with BESS technology on an international scale
  • In-depth knowledge of BESS technologies and market dynamics
  • Experience in providing technical advisory for project development

  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English
