Clinical Oncologist with Special Interest in Head and Neck Cancer

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Clinical Oncologist with a special interest in Head and Neck (H&N) cancer to join our team at the Kent Oncology Centre in Maidstone.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with H&N cancer, working closely with other medical, professional, and managerial colleagues to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
The post holder will be responsible for participating in departmental audits, sharing coordination of audit activities within the department, and implementing change. They will also take an active responsibility for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, training, and supervision.
We encourage the inclusion of research in normal clinical work and support developing research activities for interested applicants.
The Kent Oncology Centre is based at Maidstone Hospital, and the Trust manages the Oncology centre based at Maidstone and Canterbury. The post holder will be expected to attend clinical governance half-days as detailed in the Trust's Guide to job planning unless on agreed leave or while attending emergencies.
