Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist with Diabetes Interest

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist with a strong interest in diabetes to join our team at Ringmead Medical Practice. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in developing and supporting medicines optimisation work within our general practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Conduct regular medication reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Manage patients with diabetes and other long-term conditions, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication
Requirements:
  • Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or BPharm)
  • GPhC registration
  • Accredited course in diabetes
  • Full driving licence
  • IP Qualified or working towards an IP qualification
  • General Practice and understanding of medicines optimisation roles
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Member of the RPS
  • Clinical Diploma
  • Minor ailments qualification
  • Clinical systems trained (Emis)
