About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital Channels team at easyJet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the code-level development and maintenance of our front-end applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using the latest technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with architecture, business analysts, developers, and delivery managers to deliver new products and services that meet the needs of our projects and programs.
  • Provide technical leadership and support within the team, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding more junior members.
  • Identify, mitigate, or resolve technical risks within the solution, ensuring any risks or issues are clearly communicated and managed.
  • Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and the maturing of our dev-sec-ops capacities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in developing solutions using React, Next.js,.NET, and other modern front-end technologies.
  • Previous senior developer experience building web applications.
  • Experience working with content management systems, such as Sitecore or Contentful.
  • Experience of development in an Agile environment and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Experience of testing at multiple levels, including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
  • Demonstrable experience of providing technical leadership within development teams.
  • Practical and in-depth knowledge of code and database refactoring techniques.
  • Good understanding of network and infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience of DevOps and cloud technologies, such as AWS.
  • Experience of software-automation production systems, such as GitHub.
  • Experience of code deployment tools.
