Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our data science and machine learning team. The successful candidate will work closely with our data and machine learning specialists, software engineers, and commercial teams to deliver machine learning models and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to drive business value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives
  • Lead design, development, and deployment of machine learning systems
  • Explore new datasets, extract insights, and visualize results
  • Help integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems and platforms
  • Participate in code reviews, experiment design, and tooling decisions
  • Build data and machine learning expertise within the business through knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Fluency in Python with a solid understanding of coding best practices
  • 3-5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models
  • Extensive experience exploring and extracting insights from heterogeneous multi-dimensional data sets
  • Time series modeling and econometric approaches
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Desired Experience

  • Experience in the energy or commodities trading industry
  • Experience integrating machine learning systems into interactive dashboards
  • Application of a wide range of ML methodologies to real-life applications
  • Enterprise software development and data orchestrators
