Position: Chronic Pain Administration Coordinator, Band 3 ( hours per week)

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to become a vital part of our Chronic Pain Administration team, providing essential administrative support for both Pain Self-Management and Consultant-led pain clinics and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Chronic Pain Service, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering administrative assistance to the Chronic Pain Service, ensuring effective communication with patients and providing clear information.
  • Collaborating closely with clinical, management, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinating clinic appointments and procedure lists in accordance with waiting list guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Managing appointment bookings and cancellations, ensuring adherence to patient waiting time standards.
  • Providing empathetic non-clinical advice to patients and their families regarding departmental processes.
  • Facilitating access to translation and interpretation services as needed.
  • Assisting in the training and development of new staff members.
  • Maintaining accurate records and information systems to support departmental operations.
  • Addressing any issues related to patient bookings and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
