We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to become a vital part of our Chronic Pain Administration team, providing essential administrative support for both Pain Self-Management and Consultant-led pain clinics and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Chronic Pain Service, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering administrative assistance to the Chronic Pain Service, ensuring effective communication with patients and providing clear information.
- Collaborating closely with clinical, management, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinating clinic appointments and procedure lists in accordance with waiting list guidelines and organizational policies.
- Managing appointment bookings and cancellations, ensuring adherence to patient waiting time standards.
- Providing empathetic non-clinical advice to patients and their families regarding departmental processes.
- Facilitating access to translation and interpretation services as needed.
- Assisting in the training and development of new staff members.
- Maintaining accurate records and information systems to support departmental operations.
- Addressing any issues related to patient bookings and escalating concerns as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
