About The Role

The Gilbert Meher team is proud to partner with The Royal College of Chiropractors in the search for an inspirational Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to steer the College through its next phase of growth and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term strategy that ensures the College remains at the forefront of chiropractic practice and education.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient management of all College activities, including member services, educational programs, and research initiatives.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust governance practices are maintained, and the College operates in full compliance with its Royal Charter and relevant regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, healthcare organisations, and the wider chiropractic community.
  • Advocacy: Represent the College at national and international levels, advocating for the chiropractic profession and influencing healthcare policy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within a membership body, healthcare, medical education and/or academia background.
  • A broad understanding of the private healthcare sector and the NHS.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage complex operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence at the highest levels.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of The Royal College of Chiropractors.
