We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Residential Team Leader to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our young people and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to our young people and colleagues to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Rota Planning: Plan and coordinate rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet the needs of our young people.
- Meetings and Appointments: Attend meetings and appointments with our young people, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure their needs are met and our services are delivered effectively.
- Implementation of Policies: Assist in the implementation of our Statement of Purpose and other policies to ensure our services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervision: Supervise colleagues in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager to ensure continuity of care.
- Culture and Environment: Foster a safe, family environment for our young people and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Age: You must be at least 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations.
- Driving: A driving license is preferred but not essential, depending on the location of the home.
- Refer a Friend Scheme: Earn a referral fee for recommending colleagues to join our team.
- Pension Scheme: Enroll in our workplace pension scheme after three months of employment.
- Career Progression: Access training and development opportunities to progress your career in children's care.
- Comprehensive Induction: Receive a comprehensive induction and training program to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to excel in your role.
