As a Senior Fire Technician, you will be responsible for leading our fire engineering team and providing technical expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of fire alarm engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify fire safety risks and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Design, install, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and employees.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and develop solutions to meet these needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fire safety technologies and regulations to ensure the team is equipped to provide the best possible services.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
- Level 3 qualified in fire alarm engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve fire safety issues.
