Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of fire alarm engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify fire safety risks and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Design, install, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and employees.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and develop solutions to meet these needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fire safety technologies and regulations to ensure the team is equipped to provide the best possible services.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Level 3 qualified in fire alarm engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve fire safety issues.
