About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Strategist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial direction of our organization by providing insightful analysis, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring optimal resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of departmental performance, evaluating both direct financial impacts and indirect contributions to other business units. This includes preparing detailed financial reports that provide a clear understanding of the department's financial health and its alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop data-driven insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making regarding capital allocation and investment strategies. Your expertise in return on investment (ROI) analysis will be instrumental in guiding strategic resource deployment.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against established budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and conducting thorough root cause analyses. Leverage your findings to propose actionable recommendations for process improvements and adjustments to the operating model and partner distribution strategy.
  • Champion data governance and integrity by establishing robust processes and controls that ensure the accuracy and reliability of key financial metrics. Your commitment to data quality will be essential in driving informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Identify and analyze the most profitable product/channel combinations within specific regions, providing actionable insights to optimize revenue generation and maximize net contribution.
  • Work collaboratively with FP&A colleagues to develop comprehensive financial models and detailed forecasts that underpin the company's annual and three-year strategic plans. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the financial roadmap for sustainable growth.

Ideal Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record as a Finance Leader with extensive experience across multiple functional areas or businesses, or specialized expertise in a particular financial discipline.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams, navigate complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver impactful results under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated corporate agility and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive mindset with a proven ability to drive change and adapt quickly in an agile environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the company's operations, strategic direction, and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate financial analysis with business acumen, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and senior management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, change management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Results-oriented, collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach.
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement and embracing change.
  • Experience within the marketplace industry is highly desirable.
  • MBA or professional certifications such as CMA/CPA are preferred.
