Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outpatients Administrator to join our team in the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinic, ensuring the smooth running of patient pathways, and providing excellent customer service to patients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient pathways from referral to discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient use of resources.
- Provide administrative support to the clinic, including data entry, typing, and checking skills.
- Communicate effectively with people of all levels, including patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction.
- Use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
- Accurate data entry, typing, and checking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels.
- Experience of working with patients and providing information regarding their appointments or treatment.
- Previous experience of health or social care setting.
- GCSE or equivalent.
- IT skills, including email.
