Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at JobLookup. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative food process equipment that meets the specific needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and issue mechanical equipment and systems to meet customer contract requirements and support equipment development projects.
  • Configure standard equipment and design completely new equipment to meet customer specifications and internal standards.
  • Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing, assembly, installation, commission, and customer services teams.
  • Implement continuous design improvements for our equipment and develop new equipment.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer services teams as a mechanical engineering and equipment expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience designing original capital equipment, such as food and beverage, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD packages and experience with PLM software.
  • Ability to prepare and check mechanical calculations.
  • Solution-driven and customer-oriented approach.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience working with machinery standards and European Directives.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
