Compensation: £27,580 - £28,797 per annum, plus additional allowances

Work Schedule: Full-time, including long shifts and additional support hours

Role Summary:

As a Lead Therapeutic Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with the team to advocate for the positive growth of young individuals, creating a secure and nurturing atmosphere.
  • Assisting the Service Manager in ensuring effective daily operations and high standards of care.
  • Leading a team in delivering therapeutic support, addressing the distinct needs of each child.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation, including event logs, progress assessments, and care strategies.
  • Serving as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily requirements and fostering trust and development.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 12 months in a child-focused, therapeutic setting.
  • Certification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is required. Applications will not be considered without it.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to cover long shifts, weekends, and additional support hours.
  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK. Our client does not sponsor visa applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Over 2 years in a similar capacity is highly desirable.
  • Additional Certifications: Further qualifications in child care or therapeutic support are advantageous.
