Industrial Refrigeration Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Engineer to join our Industrial Refrigeration team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering project solutions, maintenance, and service solutions that support our customers' manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance services for industrial refrigeration and chiller systems
- Carry out system PPM as per contract requirements and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Prepare detailed reports and technical communications on work carried out and submit to Service Co-ordinator and Client as required
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in refrigeration engineering, such as a refrigeration apprenticeship or recognized refrigeration qualification
- Experience in working with HFC, Ammonia, and Co2 systems
- Experience with major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, and Howden
- Experience with DX, pumped, flooded, and multistage systems
- Electrical and controls experience to identify and rectify electrical and control issues
- Ability to work without documented procedures and with limited supervision
- Full UK driving license
