About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our Industrial Refrigeration division, you will be responsible for delivering project solutions, maintenance, and service solutions that support our customers' manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for industrial refrigeration/chiller systems
  • Carry out system PPM as per contract requirements and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
  • Prepare detailed reports and technical communications on work carried out and submit to Service Co-ordinator and Client as required
  • Work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Relevant refrigeration qualification (e.g. C&G) and F-GAS 2079 card
  • Experience working with HFC, Ammonia, and Co2 systems
  • Knowledge of major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, and Howden
  • Electrical and controls experience to identify and rectify electrical and control issues
  • Ability to work without documented procedures and with limited supervision
  • Full UK driving license
