Job Title: Installation and Field Service Engineer

Xstrahl Limited is a leading designer and manufacturer of Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems used in the treatment of cancers and dermatological disorders. We are seeking a skilled Installation and Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and professional engineering support to Xstrahl therapy and research cabinets systems based in the United States, with occasional travel worldwide.
  • Carry out installations, including handover and acceptance testing.
  • Fault diagnosis and defect rectification.
  • Complete CFR's and customer tickets in line with company procedure.
  • Assist with production and in-house work when necessary.
  • Maintain full and accurate records of all work carried out, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Installations completed on schedule and within budget, with all documentation signed off and submitted to service admin.
  • Maintain uptime of in-service equipment.
  • Communicate customer feedback and contribute to the company's CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) Process and Zero Defects policy.
Required Skills and Education:
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Associate degree or higher required.
  • Good level of IT skills, with experience of working with proprietary software, Windows OS, and Office applications.
  • Proven experience in a service environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of communicating technical issues clearly and to the appropriate level of detail.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Field service experience.
  • Electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
  • Mechanical assembly.
  • Experience of installing software.
  • Experience of installing and commissioning complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages would be an advantage.
