We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Esland Care. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our class teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEMH needs.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, assisting them in accessing our broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Support students in developing their skills of independence, self-regulation, and emotional intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address any barriers to learning, and develop strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management strategies to support students with SEMH needs.
