Project Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Services Lead to join our E&C team at Semco UK. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project controls services across our portfolio of projects.
Your primary focus will be on supporting the Planning Governance Manager and Cost Control Manager in implementing and maintaining project control processes. You will also be accountable for driving ownership and accountability among project team members to manage changes to the work scope.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting audits, reviews, and approvals to ensure compliance with project controls processes
- Agreeing budgets, recruiting, and leading the Project Control team, including Planners, Cost Engineers, and Estimators
- Engaging with business services teams to ensure alignment of project controls processes
- Supporting the E&C Department Manager, Planning Governance Manager, Cost Control Manager, and Project Delivery Lead in implementing best practice
- Driving the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to drive project performance
- Supporting the identification and reporting of schedule and cost risks and opportunities
- Supporting the development of Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (SRA, CRA) procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience on full project lifecycles within a Project Controls or Project Engineering function
- Contract knowledge, including experience in various forms of EPC contracting
- Experience with integrated project controls systems and Microsoft 365 data collection and analysis tools, including PowerBI
- Strong working knowledge of project controls theory and practices
- Acceptance of feedback and responsibility for improving performance
- Delivery-focused and committed to achieving project and company goals
- Formal Project Controls Qualification (Cost or Planning Pathway)
