About the Role

Priory Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at our psychiatric hospital in Middleton St George. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals, taking into account special requests and dietary requirements.
  • Deliver prepared foods to our units around site using our catering van.
  • Supervise catering staff to ensure they meet operational standards and company policies.
  • Manage stock effectively, including ordering and checking deliveries.
  • Assist the Catering Manager in creating new menus and ensuring meals meet healthy eating guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings with service users to discuss menus and preferences.
Requirements
  • NVQ2 or equivalent in Catering, or Qualified By Experience.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • UK driving license.
