Kaizen Global Group Ltd is a prominent UK manufacturer dedicated to delivering products worldwide.

We are seeking a proficient and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

About You:

  • You should possess a strong background in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Plant environments, with a comprehensive understanding of operational challenges.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, particularly in industrial settings, including expertise in 3-phase electrical systems.
  • A track record of managing reactive electrical maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns in a dynamic production atmosphere.
  • Extensive electrical knowledge and training, demonstrating a solid history of performance.
  • Familiarity with various machine controls and interfaces, such as PLCs, HMIs, and Inverter drives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, report, and resolve process issues effectively.
  • Basic mechanical skills are required.
  • Experience with mechanical and hydraulic drive systems is advantageous.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute planned preventative maintenance on all site equipment.
  • Maintain PPM schedules and work procedures while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Address equipment malfunctions and diagnose breakdown issues to reduce downtime.
  • Develop and implement safety programs to rectify or prevent unsafe working conditions, promoting a culture of safety by identifying potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policies.
  • Support in conducting risk assessments as necessary.
Requirements:

  • Level 3 City and Guilds 2365 Electrotechnical Craft or equivalent qualification.
  • City and Guilds 18th Edition, Second amendment.
  • NVQ/ONC/HNC or other relevant qualifications.
  • Significant industrial electrical experience.
  • A completed apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or plant environment is desirable.
