About the Role

Dalkia UK is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Gloucester area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining building services and environmental conditions in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
  • Performing reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as allocated
  • Conducting inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
  • Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
  • Maintaining site-based records and log books
  • Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize the life expectancy of all equipment
  • Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and local policies and procedures
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers through face-to-face, telephone, and email communication

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical or Equivalent
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate
  • HVAP qualified (or willing to work towards)
  • 18th Edition
  • Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Experience of working in data centers
  • Experience of LV switching
  • Full driving license
  • Good IT skills
