About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior/Senior Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with prescribed systems and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare management accounts, complete on time, accurately and thoroughly, and pass on for manager review.
  • Complete complex assignments for manager review, utilizing junior staff on more simple assignments and overseeing their work standard.
  • Support trainees and help with the development of their knowledge and skills.
  • Review annual accounts prepared by juniors, finalize accounts, and complete all sections of the accounts file.
  • Perform the role of the senior representative on site, conduct all relationships with the client in a professional manner, and utilize and plan junior staff effectively.
  • Deal with complex business tax computations, including corporation tax, and prepare personal tax returns for manager/director review.
Key Accountabilities
  • Chargeable time: target 60%+ for self and direct reports.
  • Quality of files: neat, accurate and complete, on time, and shows initiative.
  • Personal and professional development: progression on course of study (if applicable), SWAT courses, and development of soft skills.
  • Attendance record: relative situation compared to colleagues and Bradford factor.
Requirements
  • Essential: analytical thinking skills, QuickBooks, online cloud accounting, knowledge of accounts, Autoentry/HubDoc, administration skills, IRIS, excellent communication skills, virtual Cabinet, proficiency in MS Office, practice Engine, team working, organized with good time management skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, Xero, Sage.
  • Desirable: comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment, reliable with good timekeeping, dedicated, confidentiality, integrity, adaptable and able to manage several jobs simultaneously.
