Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our Audit Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality services, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored audit services
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m
- Supervise and coach junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality work
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, being a key point of contact for audit services
- Contribute to the development of our team, including identifying training needs and implementing solutions
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in an audit role, with a strong understanding of audit principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the financial services industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
